KABUL, Afghanistan — A Taliban suicide bomber detonated an explosives-packed car near the international airport in Afghanistan's capital today, Sunday, 17th May 2015, killing at least three people and wounding 18 in an attack that appears to have targeted vehicles of the European Union police training mission, officials said.
A spokeswoman for EUPOL, Sari Haukka-Konu, reported that one non-mission member who was traveling in an EUPOL vehicle had been killed. She reports that no details on the nationality or identity of the deceased.
