Yesterday, the 27th May 2015, a keke Driver witnessed the end of his keke as it automatically caught fire on its own and burns to ashes. Thank God the keke man ran off earlier enough and encountered no serious burns or injuries.
This happened in Owerri, Okigwe road round about, opposite Rock view hotel.
The incident really caused a serious problem and the whole okigwe was stuck for hours because of the serious traffic hold up that the burning keke caused.
The cause of the incident is not accertain. But from was clear that the keke caught fire because of some technical faults which wasn't detected earlier.
