The Nigeria football Federation ( NFF ) terminated the
contract of Super Falcons head coach Edwin Okon. According to reports, he was fired following
the Super Falcons poor performance at the just concluded FIFA Women's World cup
in Canada after the team failed to make it out of the group stage.
The team's
assistant coach, Christopher Danjuma has been appointed acting coach.
