It's not uncommon to smash a plate or punch a wall to let off some steam, but one Georgia man took it to the next level when he plowed a pickup truck into his own home out of frustration.

Temper tantrum: John Paul Jones Jr, 35, the owner of this red Chevy 2500 pickup truck, plowed it into his Senoia, Georgia, home out of frustration

John Paul Jones Jr, 35, of Senoia, confessed that he deliberately rammed his red pickup truck into his house on Old Highway 85 last Thursday after a heated argument with his wife.

'I don't know, it was just one of those spur of the moment crazy things,' said Jones when asked about his decision-making process.

In shambles: The powerful vehicle smashed through the living room and came out the other side

But speaking to the station WGCL, the 35-year-old revealed that a phone conversation with his wife had made him so angry that he jumped behind the wheel of his pickup and set it on a collision course with his home just before 4.15pm Thursday.

Jones may have ruined a few pieces of furniture and nicked his Chevy 2500 truck, but his sense of humor remained intact in the wake of the bizarre incident.

‘The police came out here, I told them I needed air conditioning,’ said Jones. ‘They said, “open a window.” I told them it wasn't enough. As you can see, I had a nice breeze.’

Jones joked that when police arrived, he jokingly told them he needed air condition, and opening a window was not enoughJones plowed into his home Thursday

Jones, a building contractor by trade who has been unemployed for more than a year, was able to repair some of the damage over the course of two days. Jones' truck sustained a broken light, a damaged tire and nicked paint

'It didn't pay anything, but hey, it kept me busy,' he quipped.

Jones's truck emerged from the collision the worse for wear, with a light missing and its red pain chipped, but it's still running.

The hot-tempered Georgian has not been charged with any crime because both the truck and the house were his personal property.
